Matt Suleau travels to Detroit, Michigan to find out the story behind Cadillac’s rich history, and experience the all new Cadillac Lyriq before it launches in Australia. This documentary promo was shot alongside a shorter promo piece in order to tell both the full story of Cadillac’s history, as well as show off the bold, iconic styling of the new Lyriq.

For this video we set the style in pre production, with the plan to use in camera slow shutter effects to transition between scenes, using car mount rigs to create energy for driving shots and using a mix of documentary ‘fly on the wall’ style shooting alongside stylized gimbal shots to keep the video engaging. As a solo shooter working alongside the director and creative director, we had a small but nimble team to maximize the production value of this shoot. Filmed on location in Detroit, Michigan.
